Joshua Francis

Your website is making premium clients hesitate before they call.

If your site feels smaller than the business behind it, buyers start questioning your value before you ever speak. I rebuild that first impression so trust is already there by the time they reach out.

For a long time, our website was the weakest part of how we showed up. It didn't represent the level we were at. Josh led the redesign, and the difference is night and day. Now prospects compliment the site before the first call. If you want someone who treats your site like it's their own, it's Josh.

You don't have a design problem. You have a trust problem.

"People say they love my work, but the site makes us look smaller than we are."

Premium clients decide against you before you ever get the call. You discount to win work you should have closed at full price.

"Prospects are interested, but I can feel them checking if we're really worth the fee."

The trust decision happens in the first seconds on the site. A dated or cheap-looking one means your expertise never gets a hearing.

"The redesign looked better, but it still didn't make us feel more credible."

A prettier redesign changes the look, not the trust signal. Decoration doesn't move the business; engineered credibility does.

That gap is fixable. Here's what changed when the website finally matched the reputation behind it.

Before working with Josh, our website didn't reflect the reputation Shiki Studios had earned. The new site finally feels like the level of the school, and booking is easier than ever. In a month I expected to be slow, we filled two classes with barely any marketing. The website has become a real part of how the business sells.

One owner. One website built to close the credibility gap.

Not a cosmetic redesign. A strategy-led website rebuild that makes your proof, positioning, and reputation obvious before the first call.

Credibility-first design & build

A site engineered through product and UX design to make you look as established as you are. Senior, custom, no templates. Everything else on this page hangs off this.

Trust & proof layer

Press, case studies, results. Placed where they decide trust, not buried three scrolls down.

Performance & reliability

Fast, secure, mobile-first. Speed and stability are themselves trust signals.

Positioning that protects your price

Messaging and structure that hold your price. No more discounting to close work you should win at full rate.

One owner: design + build

I design it and I build it. No handoff, no finger-pointing. One person accountable for the whole thing.

Care Plan

Hosting, monitoring, security, and changes on a monthly retainer. The site stays sharp after launch.

Close the credibility gap

Three steps to a website buyers trust faster.

No fifteen-step methodology, no committee. One call, one owner, one result.

FAQ

Questions about working together.

How is this different from hiring an agency?

An agency hands you a beautiful site through a chain of people, then leaves. I design and build it myself, so the premium positioning survives from first concept to live site, and I'm still here to own it afterwards. You're buying credibility engineering, not a decoration project.

How much does it cost?

Premium, custom rebuilds are typically a five-figure investment, scoped to the firm on a call. When a single high-value client is worth tens of thousands to you, a site that wins more of them and lets you stop discounting pays for itself quickly. No blind quotes, we scope it together first.

Couldn't I just use Squarespace or a cheaper freelancer?

You can, and for many businesses that's the right call. But your buyer is judging whether you're worth a premium fee, and a template that looks like everyone else's quietly answers that question for them. If your site's job is to justify your prices, it can't look like it was chosen to save money.

I just had a redesign. Why didn't it work?

Most redesigns change how the site looks without changing what it signals. Prettier isn't the same as more trusted. The work here is engineering the credibility signals, proof, positioning, structure, speed, that actually decide whether a premium buyer takes you seriously in the first seconds.

How long does it take?

A focused premium rebuild typically runs a few weeks, depending on scope and how much positioning and content work is needed. You'll have a clear timeline before we start, not a guess designed to make you commit.

What happens on the first call?

We look at where your current site is creating doubt, what needs to change, and whether a rebuild would actually be worth it. If I don't think the site is the bottleneck, I'll tell you.

Do you work with brands outside Canada?

Yes. Most of my work is remote. Clients are based across Canada, the US, and internationally. If your website makes you look smaller than you are, the geography doesn't change what needs fixing.

Your next high-value client is looking at your site right now.
